Another great one! Feels like you're talking to me, which is my favorite type of writing.

I am 63 and never know what my passion is. I am a jack of several trades because of circumstances (just do whatever to put food on the table) and I am surprised that I am decent at some trade without knowing anything about it. Of course I suck at tons of other trades and I avoid them at all cost. But all I do is maximizing my brief good time while enduring boring, bad time to earn the money for my good time. I lie to others but not to myself.

What I find sad is a lot of people spend their life doing something they think they like and are good at it but in reality they suck and probably do not like it at all. They lie to themselves successfully most of the time but there are times where the lie does not work and they are depressed

Your self help essay is just a lot of ramblings but it speaks to me. Keep up the good work

Hi Stephen, your essays are so funny! I think you would be a great comedy writer!

Reading your essays is a very pleasant experience. Even though I'm just reading, I feel like you can hear my thoughts and respond.

I hope to be able to write like you some day.

So many great lines but this stood out

"Another thing they say in AA is that the good news is, there’s help. The bad news is, we’re the help."

Really liked it! The tangents and deviations really made the story… very cool effect… you think it’s another marketwatch/simplified get rich scheme article then… “Wait… how did we get here? Now I’m much more interested!”
