I was a middle class kid who was close to a lot of rich kids and resented my lot in life. Only way later

in life in my 50s that I realized that life is not fair and it is no use to compare yourself with others.

There are always people who are better/worse/luckier/unluckier and all you can do is focusing on

things that you can control. You learned this at the age of 15 or 16, great for you.

I think I was closer to 50 when I realized. I didn't actually know anything at 15 or 16. It was all trial and error, very few ideas.
